Happy Thursday, every one! For today’s blog post, I will be sharing some fun photos and information about a celebratory event that Pandora held on March 8th, 2020. All photos and information are courtesy of Pandora. SO…make sure to grab a cup of tea and let’s get started!

Hosts, Maya Jama and Halima Aden.

In honour and celebration of, International Women’s Day, Pandora held an exclusive concert, hosted by Maya Jama and Halima Aden! The event was held in London, in support of UNICEF.

The ticket sales supported UNICEF in empowering young people through programmes, such as UPSHIFT education, gender equality, rights awareness personal empowerment and civic engagement). If you would like to know more information about the #PandoraForUNICEF #CharmsForChange 3 year partnership, I have a blog post, HERE. There is also a special and newly released charm: We Can Do Anything. Proceeds will be donated to UNICE, until April 30th.

Now, back to the event! The intimate crowd was moved by upbeat songs by performers, Anne-Marie and Mahalia. These stars helped celebrated female empowerment! Some songs that were sung were: R.E.S.P.E.C.T, Flawless and Wannabe.

Also at the event, were the, The Pandora Muses – Halima Aden, Larsen Thompson, Margaret Zhang and Tasya van Ree. I am a fan of, Halima Aden and I was sooo excited when she became a Pandora Muse!

    The Pandora Muses

The Pandora Muses also celebrated the event with, Neelam Gill, Leomie Anderson, Louise Thompson, Roxy Horner, Chloe Lloyd and Jess Woodley.

From the pictures and the fun content I saw from Pandora’s Instagram page…the event truly looked spectacular and so much fun! How cool would it have been to attend this concert and support such a wonderful cause? I love that Pandora gives back and empowers women, all over the world.

Have you ever attended a Pandora event? It is on my bucket list and I hope to attend one, some day!!!

Pandora 2020 Dangle Charm + Designing with my Pandora20 Charms

A few weeks ago, Snowman (AKA, my husband), was able to find the Pandora 2020 New Year Dangle Charm, for me. It had been on my Wishlist, but I wasn’t in a huge hurry to get it, when it first released. With the busy Christmas/New Years season, I had been so busy and didn’t have time to pop over to a Pandora store! Well, once February was nearly here, I realized I better get the charm, before it sold out! BUT…ALAS, it was sold out every where I checked, including online. I was so frustrated that I didn’t purchase it, as soon as it came out!

Luckily, my husband was able to find one, during a business trip. It was the last one. These are the types of situations that I call the, “meant to be” ones!

Why was this charm on my Wishlist? 2020 is a huge year for me. There’s so much going on, this year and I wanted this charm to represent that! And don’t worry…you’ll hear all about my 2020 year adventures on here, Instagram and YouTube!

A closeup look at the 2020 dangle detail.
Angled detail of the 2020 dangle.

This charm is elegantly detailed with beautiful blue cubic zirconia surrounding a classic Pandora heart shape. In the inside of the heart, there is a dangling 2020 detail. I especially love the bale details, which is what first attracted me to the charm. It reads: “Happiness, Health & Love”. All three of those words summarize some of the things already planned or currently happening this year, for me.

Here is what Pandora has to say about this charm:

“This limited edition Pandora Moments 2020 dangle charm in sterling silver is the perfect way to celebrate and commemorate the start of an exciting new decade. The sparkling heart frame features the numbers 2020 designed in elegant script, while the blue cubic zirconia that surround it create a beautiful ombré effect. On the top part, the silver heart dangle charm is engraved with the inspiring words: “Happiness, Health, Love” to remind you of everything that matters in the upcoming decade.

This charm retails for $55 CAD. You can find the ALE and S925 markings on the front, right side of the bale. It is a lighter weight charm and really catches the light!

    Right Side Detail.
The back detail of the 2020 Pandora Charm.

I plan to put this charm on a 20th themed Pandora bracelet. Currently, I am thinking it would make a nice centrepiece charm, however I’ll have to wait and see. I do plan to add all the Pandora 20 Anniversary charms to this 20th theme, as well (if I am lucky to get them all).

I still have to add my 2020 dangle to a design theme. For this post, I just added it to my Pandora medium sized O pendant. I am excited to design with it afterwards, and perhaps pair it with the, We Can Do Anything charm. I think they will compliment one another beautifully, especially with the blue cubic zirconia details.

I currently have a mini design with my Pandora 20 charms (on my open bangle) and I would also love to find a way to incorporate my 2020 dangle and the, We can Do Anything charm to these, as well.

For Pandora 20th Anniversary charms, I have January’s Strawberry and February’s Frog. I paired them with the two Rainbow muranos (retired), two Hearts All Over charms, the Blue Water Heart charm and added them onto my Pandora Open Bangle. I am excited to pair all of theses pieces with the 2020 dangle charm, but perhaps on a Moments charm bracelet. I just need to decide on which one!!!

Speaking of which, any one else hoping that Pandora will do a 20th Anniversary bracelet? I really hope they will!!!!!

Below, is the January Pandora 20th Anniversary Strawberry Charm, followed by February Pandora 20th Anniversary Frog Charm. I still cannot believe how lucky I was to be able to add them to my collection! There is such limited stock available, all over the world!

And that’s it for today’s blog post! Do you plan on creating a 20th Anniversary or 2020 themed Pandora bracelet?

Charms for Change | Pandora Supports UNICEF | International Women’s Day

    * All photos, in this blog post, are provided by Pandora *

Did you know that the world is home to 600 million adolescent girls, aged 10-19? 1 in 6 of these girls are not in secondary school and are unable to fulfill their potential and dreams. This can change, if they are given the opportunities, right resources and the environment to learn.

Pandora has partnered with UNICEF to support these young voices. Through the sale of jewellery and other initiatives, Pandora will raise funds to empower children and young people, around the world. Pandora will be supporting UNICEF programs on education, gender equality, rights awareness, personal empowerment and civic engagement. Part of this annual donation to UNICEF, will also go towards supporting and improving the life of millions of children worldwide.

This is a 3-year collaboration and twice a year, Pandora will offer limited-edition jewellery pieces to support UNICEF. The funds raised, from these dedicated charms will be donated to UNICEF.

The first jewellery item is under the, Charms for Change initiative. It is called the, We Can Do Anything charm. This charm is also tied into, International Women’s Day, (March 8th, 2020).

Here is what Pandora has to say about this special charm:

Being empowered to make healthy, positive life choices is key to the ability of young women to become agents of change, as individuals and within their families and communities. For International Women’s Day, Pandora has created a limited edition Pandora for UNICEF We Can Do Anything charm that symbolises support from girl-to-girl and woman-to-woman as a part of the Charms for Change initiative.

The Pandora for UNICEF We Can Do Anything charm is a call for unity. Designed with self-awareness, exploring values and building self-confidence in mind, the sterling silver design is detailed with “The power is in me” and “We can do anything” in tonal blue man-made crystals and cubic zirconia. Designed to fit our Pandora Moments bracelets and bangles — a collectible jewellery concept made for storytelling and styling to express personality and passions — the design recognizes the fact that together we hold the power to effect positive change.

    WE can do anything.

Launching globally in stores and online on 5 March and available for a limited period, the release of the Pandora for UNICEF We Can Do Anything charm links to International Women’s Day on 8 March, but the meaning and message behind it go beyond the day itself.

Between 5 March and 30 April 2020, Pandora will donate €15 of the purchase price of each charm sold to UNICEF.

JOIN THE CONVERSATION: #PandoraForUNICEF with #CharmsForChange

I love the message and representation behind this charm, but I adore that this charm will be supporting UNICEF. This charm released yesterday and I am hoping to have the opportunity to go to my local Pandora store to purchase it, over the weekend! I feel it will pair beautifully with my Pandora 2020 dangle. Stay tuned for a bracelet design!!!

Do you plan to purchase this charm for yourself or perhaps a loved one? If so, how do you plan on styling it?

P.S: Nichol!!! I think we both need this charm to represent us too!!! xo

P.S x2: a special thank you to Pandora for these photos!!! xo

Pandora 20 | Pandora 20th Anniversary Strawberry Charm Unboxing and First Impressions

In this video, I unbox the Pandora 20th Anniversary Strawberry Charm, as well as a special charm for my “Ella/Dog” themed bracelet!

This year, Pandora celebrates their 20th Anniversary of the, Pandora Moments charm bracelet. To celebrate 20 years of collecting, Pandora is going through their archives and bringing back a vintage charm every month in 2020. All 12 of the charms will be limited-edition and very limited quantities available. Each charm will be available only until it has sold out, which makes all 12 charms an absolute must for a Pandora collector! To learn more about Pandora’s 20th Anniversary, CLICK HERE.

I ordered my Strawberry charm at 9:00 PM EST on January 19th, 2020. My friend, Linda helped me find it on the Canadian estore. I had no issues with my order! However, I heard from a few Canadian and American friends that their, Strawberry Charm orders were cancelled, sadly!

This video was filmed the last week of January and I hope you enjoy seeing my unboxing and first impressions of the Strawberry charm! I also compare it to the original, retired Pandora Strawberry Charm.

Harry Potter x Pandora | My Bracelet Design

In today’s blog post, I am sharing some photos of my, Harry Potter x Pandora bracelet! I just finished filming a video about it and I am looking forward to editing it. Whenever I film, I always make sure to take photos, as well! That way, everything is cohesive and reflects well together.

I quickly edited these photos and I am excited to give you a quick look at the design I came up with!

    From left to right:
Red/Green Moonlight (Ogerbeads), Gryffindor Dangle Charm (Pandora),
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry (Pandora),
Fire Fragments 2.0 (Ogerbeads), Dobby the House Elf Charm (Pandora)

In the photo above, you’ll see a nice close up of the openwork charm: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This retails for $50 CAD and I have to tell you: I was shocked by the price point! I was expecting it to be around $80-100 CAD. When I received it in the mail from Gold-N-Memories Pandora, I could not get over the amount of detail on it! I also love that the back of the charm features the school’s crest and it is frame with dainty star details. Even without cubic zirconia, it is truly magical (and probably why it isn’t in the price range I was expecting to pay).

Beside that charm, heading over to the right, I also have Ogerbeads, Fire Fragments 2.0. It really makes me think of Harry Potter and almost resembles a lightning bolt! It contains pure magic, with touches of cubic zirconia and glitter and I cannot wait to edit the video, so you can see how it sparkles!

Heading over to the left of the Hogwarts charm, we have the Gryffindor Dangle Charm, which is my house! Both on Pottermore and at Warner Bros. Studio’s “Sorting Hat”, I was sorted into the Gryffindor house. So was my husband!

I love this dangle for a number of different reasons:

    1. It has SO much detail, all over. This is something I love to see on any charm or bead.

    2. It has magical, red cubic zirconia stars that just twinkle when they catch the light.

    3. The bail detail reminds me of that old, classic Pandora look! I find that Pandora (recently) has been doing more plainer bails and it is sooo refreshing and lovely to see some more creativity to them.

    4. The beautiful inscriptions on the bead: Gryffindor, Harry Potter and the three characteristics of Gryffindors: courage, determination, bravery.

    Gryffindor Dangle Pandora Charm

Beside this Pandora charm, I have Ogerbeads Red/Green Moonlight Murano. The yellow and red detailing remind me of Gryffindor and the fact that it glows in the dark…and turns into a green colour, is just totally Harry Potter vibes!

    Red/Green Moonlight Ogerbeads Murano.

Moving along, we have the first charm I ordered from the Harry Potter x Pandora release: Dobby the House Elf Charm. He is my favourite Harry Potter character besides, Professor Snape. I just adore him and every time I read or watch about what happens to him, I cry so hard. It breaks my heart! He is just the sweetest and while the charm is a bit too cartoony, for my liking…I love him just the same and I could NOT…not get him.

Dobby the House Elf Pandora Charm

I love his wide-open smile and his cute little ears. His feet are a bit too plain for my liking, but I just adore that he is holding a little white sock behind him. That part is soo detailed and brings tears to my eyes.

His garment has cute draped details and I love the black enamel button eyes. It’s lovely to see those little enamel accents.

Can you spot the sock on the, Dobby the House Elf Pandora Charm?

Over to the left of Dobby, you will spot the Black/Green Moonlight Murano from Ogerbeads. This also glows-in-the-dark and turns into a green colour, much like my other moonlight Murano shown earlier.

And there you have it! That is my Harry Potter themed charm bracelet! I have this bracelet on my Pandora Open Bangle, in case you were curious.

I would love to know what you think of my design and stay tuned for a video, coming out within the next few weeks.

ALSO: make sure to check out, Aali | Pandorably Charmed‘s video on her Harry Potter themed bracelet. She styled it on a Pandora Moments snake chain bracelet and added some really cute charms to go with it. I especially love the car charm, she picked out. So clever! You can watch her video, HERE.

    Courage, Determination, Bravery

My Husband’s Pandora Bracelet | Mandora

On Saturday morning, I published a video that is very special to me: my husband guest stars along side me to show you his “Mandora” Pandora bracelet! I was so proud of him, I think he did a fantastic job since it was his first time on camera. I hope you enjoy watching this mini Q&A with him!

I would also love to know if your significant others like to wear more masculine feeling jewellery…or even have their own “Mandora”.

    Have a lovely day!
