Yesterday (June 28th, 2020), we celebrated Ella’s “Gotcha Day”. I had never heard of a “Gotcha Day” before adopting Ella. A “Gotcha Day” is like a birthday, however it is celebrated on the day you brought your furry friend home.
Ella’s “Gotcha Day” was so fun! I made sure the day was extra special for her. We have Ella some special new treats and bones! And I also had a fun virtual Tea “PAWty” for her. I filmed the Tea “PAWty” for my #TeaTimeTuesday IGTV series. If you would like to join in on the celebrations, you can watch the video HERE or down below:
Have you heard of a “Gotcha Day” before? I think it is such a cute idea!
I had so much fun enjoying tea and treats with Ella and Georgina. I hope you did too! xo
Today, I posted a new Youtube video about the fun Disney items I purchased from yesterday’s shopping adventure at the Disney Store! In this video, you’ll see a mixture of Disney clothing, Disney Merchandise and Disney Christmas Ornaments! You can watch the video HERE or down below:
Have you ordered anything from Shop Disney lately or have had a chance to safely visit your local Disney Store? If so, I would love to know what you picked up! There are always so many temptations when I walk into a Disney Store, haha!
I am so excited that the Disney Stores are opening back up! I have missed visiting them. But even more so, I have missed visiting Disneyland.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your Monday night and a great week ahead! I am going to enjoy the rest of my Glitter and Gold tea from DAVIDsTEA. Cheers!
It was my first time visiting a Shop Disney store since February/stores closed for lockdown. The Shop Disney stores are starting to open back up and I couldn’t wait to go visit! A special thank you to My Pretty Charmed Life and Disney Hungry for letting me know they were opening!
Besides shopping at DAVIDsTEA and Pandora stores, the Disney Store is my favourite place to go to do some good ol’ retail therapy, haha. What about you?
You can hear more about the outfit details and see closeup shots in my recent #StyleSunday IGTV video HERE or down below:
And that concludes today’s Fashion Diaries post! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and have a great week ahead!

Pictures from the Birthday Celebration:
We had such a lovely time dining out together. Her husband also came and we enjoyed a delicious brunch. Tiara and I also both treated ourselves to a delicious mimosa!
It was also cute because Tiara and I both were “twinning” with our blue and white floral dresses! Totally unplanned. Great minds think alike 😉 Also: Can you spot her Cult Gaia bag? Love it!!!
Look at that gorgeous mountain view behind us!!!
Where I live, Covid-19 cases are currently low. Many restaurants and stores have opened back up, with strong social distancing and safety measures being taken.
At Seasons in the Park, all the servers wore plastic face covers, in addition to their masks and all guests were seated within a safe distance from each other. Since the restaurant was serving at half it’s capacity, it also made for a very intimate birthday celebration!
What is Covid-19 like in your area?
Time for Gifts and Cake with the Birthday Girl:
And that concludes today’s Fashion Diaries post! I hope you enjoy the rest of your Tuesday and don’t forget that a new Tea Time Tuesday is up on my IGTV!
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this time, while enjoying the Summer season. I hope this blog post adds a smile to your day!
This year, Pandora celebrates their 20th Anniversary of the Pandora Moments charm bracelet. This charm bracelet was first released in 2000. To celebrate 20 years of collecting, Pandora is going through their archives and bringing back a vintage charm every month in 2020. All 12 of the charms will be limited-edition. Each charm will be available only until it has sold out, which makes all 12 charms an absolute must for a Pandora collector!
I am so excited to join Pandora in celebrating this special milestone! To celebrate Pandora’s anniversary, each month, I will share a special story behind a charm in my collection, and reveal what the limited-edition Pandora 20 Charm is!
So, make sure to grab a cup of iced tea…and let me share with you what this month’s charm is…
* All 2020 Limited Edition Pig Charmphotos are provided by Pandora *
The 2020 Limited Edition Pig Charm
Hello June 20th! Today we celebrate the relaunch of the Pig Charm! The original style number of this vintage charm was 790214. The updated version is also made in sterling silver and has the Pandora 20 hallmark displayed on the back of his head. This is the first anniversary charm where the logo is displayed on the back. Previously, the Pandora 20 hallmarks have been displayed near the front of the charm.
Prices from $35 USD and $40 CAD.
Each 2020 Pig Charm comes with a certificate, confirming its authenticity.
The 2020 Limited Edition Pig Charm is available globally only on Pandora’s estore. Very limited numbers are available, so it is best to purchase today, June 20th, 2020…if its not already sold out!
*please note that these charms are very limited. Until supplies last.
The Limited Edition Pig Charm looks nearly identical to the original design of the Pig Charm. I love his wide grin and upright ears. For me, he represents fairytales, reading Lord of the Flies in high school and a cute nod to my guinea pigs: Harlow, Zooey and Georgina.
Each month, I celebrate Pandora’s 20th anniversary by sharing a special charm in my personal Pandora collection. For this month, I am telling the story behind my Fairy Pixie Charm. I have it as the centrepiece charm on my Fairy Garden themed Pandora Bracelet.
My Fairy Garden Bracelet is inspired by my sister and my mother. Each charm on this bracelet represents them. The fairies represent my sister and the flowers represent my mother and her beautiful garden.
I purchased the Fairy Pixie Charm when it was first released. It reminded me of my little sister, who is in heaven. Fairies and Angels have always made me think of her because I see her as my guardian angel.
“Sisters are like angels. They sparkle, twinkle and glow, they are the greatest gift our hearts will ever know.”

Sadly, this charm is now retired, but I am excited to share more of the details and story behind it, with you! It is one of my favourite charms, in my collection.
I have created a video to more personally tell you the story behind the Fairy Pixie Charm, as well as the bracelet theme! You can watch it HERE or down below:
Garden Fairies come at dawn, bless the flowers then they’re gone!

The Fairy Pixie Charm
The Fairy Pixie Charm is a two tone charm. The fairy is sitting with her arms tightly wrapped around her knees with a 14 gold ct. heart. She has a thoughtful expression and her hair is tied up into a bun, Tinkerbell Style! Her wings are beautifully detailed, almost like a butterfly. She is wearing a flowing dress and is barefoot.
The Fairy Pixie Charm reminds me of the same fairy seen in the Forest Fairy Pandora Charm. This charm was released after the Fairy Pixie Charm. I love that the Forest Fairy is sitting on a mushroom! It is such a sweet detail.
Do you own either of these charms in your Pandora Collection? I can never resist a fairy charm from Pandora!
For today’s blog post, I styled my Fairy Garden Bracelet with my Pandora Open Bangle (with floral themed Pandora Murano charms) and my Pandora Essence Bangle. I also added two of my favourite floral Pandora Rings and Pandora Daisy Stud Earrings.
And that concludes this blog post! I would like to thank Pandora for the opportunity to be a part of their 20th Anniversary celebration! I am so excited to share exclusive Pandora 20 content and moments with you, over the next 5 months! Pandora will be providing me with 3 of the 12 anniversary charms, in this celebration.
I hope you have a wonderful day! Take care, stay healthy and spread love, especially during this time…praying for the world. <3
Hello everyone! I hope this blog post finds you and your loved ones safe, healthy and well, during this time. It is summer time here in Canada and I have been enjoying as much time outdoors, as possible! This includes lots of my favourite summer activities, such as: hiking mountains, exploring outdoor gardens, having picnics and patio dining with Ella. I have also had too many delicious iced teas and iced matcha to count! What are your favourite summer activities?
In today’s blog post, I am sharing a look at Ogerbeads‘ newest Spring/Summer release: The Blossom Collection. This collection features 10 new Murano glass beads and 2 silver beads. This collection was delayed due to COVID-19, but I am so happy it will be officially launching today, Friday July 10th at 12:00 Amsterdam Time (6:00 AM EST).
So, if you are ready to see the beautiful new beads from Ogerbeads, make sure to grab a delicious cup of iced tea and let’s get started!
A special thank you to Ogerbeads for letting me use their official stock photos for this blog post.
The Blossom Collection features 6 vibrantly coloured floral glass beads and 4 pastel glass beads.
The Collection Overview:
A Closer Look:
The Pixiedust Fragment Beads:
I love these new pixie dust fragment beads! I love pastel and neutral colours, so I instantly gravitated towards these beads. They are feminine and remind me of the spring time. They look magical with that touch of golden sparkle.
They are also very elegant and I can see myself dressing them up for a romantic evening or spring/summer wedding.
The Blossom Beads:
The Blossom Beads offer a refreshing pop of colour and make me think of running in a field of flowers or my mother’s garden back home! I can picture myself wearing these with one of my favourite white blouses or dresses.
I love the swirling white details and lifted bubble accents. They really evoke that “feeling” a summer breeze.
The Silver Beads of Spring and Summer:
The Tree of Love
The Tree of Love looks beautiful. It has heart shaped leaves and tree roots, a lovely symbol of connection and family. It reads: “Tree of Love” along the sides of the bead. I am looking forward to seeing this bead in-person! Love takes root and grows in so many amazing ways, I love that this bead is a reflection of that!
The Bee Hive:
The Bee Hive bead is beautifully detailed! I love the floral and vine accents going over the bee hive. There are a few bees with their wings spread out, buzzing about their home…such a sweet detail! I am curious to see the size of this bead, in-person. I am also intrigued by the doorway, into the hive…is it oxidized or can you see inside the bead? I cannot wait to find out!
And that concludes a look at the new Ogerbeads collection releasing today! What do you think of this new collection? Do you have any favourites? Please let me know down below!
In today’s blog post, I am sharing how my Project OHMistry bead OHM Don’t Give Up was made. From the initial sketch, to the wax carving and to the end result…I will be sharing this fun adventure with you.
If you missed seeing my announcement about OHM Don’t Give Up, I have created a page with my previous YouTube videos and blog posts. You can find it HERE.
In this Youtube video, I share a detailed look at what inspired OHM Don’t Give Up. You can watch it HERE or down below:
After brainstorming through my inspirations for my bead, I began to sketch out some ideas. I knew I wanted a mountain/journey concept, with a “dark” scary side and a “light” happy side. It was important this bead had a nature and fairytale theme too.
I was also inspired by my favourite bible verse, Hebrews 11:1 ⛰ ✨
Sketching it out…
After I sketched out a few ideas, I sent my sketches and design concept to OHM Beads. We began to collaborate on the bead design! They took my ideas/concepts and transformed them into an incredible bead design. I had so many ideas for a tiny bead and I was shocked at how many of those ideas they were able to keep or expand on.
They also asked me a wonderful question: did I want the bead to be like a real mountain or more of a fictional idea? I loved their idea of a real mountain, so we went with that concept!
They sent the bead concept art to me and we tweaked around with the bead design together, playing around with snakes, wolves and ghostly creatures!
They also added an adorable mushroom house to the “light side” of the mountain. This touch was so “me” and makes me smile to this day! So sweet of them to add that detail in!
After we approved the final design, it was time to test the design out in wax!
OHM Beads sent me videos and photos of OHM Don’t Give Up in the lost-wax carving. The process of lost-wax casting allows intricate details to be achieved. It also provides an idea of the size and a safe testing ground to see what the details will look like, before testing it out in sterling silver.
It was fascinating to see the journey of a sketch transform into a wax carving! I was shocked to see how many details were achieved on wax.
After the wax casting was approved, it was time to move forward and create the silver master mold!
Silver Master Mold
The silver master mold was incredible to see! OHM Beads sent me photos and videos from every angle. They even added a blue sharpie pen over the laser engraving placement on the You Did It, so we could see it clearly.
All our ideas were captured perfectly. The details from the wax were maintained. I could not get over how much detail made it onto a small bead. I also LOVED the font OHM Beads chose for the bottom of the bead that reads, “Don’t Give Up”.
OHM Beads also styled the silver master mold with other wax molds, so I could get an idea on size (see below photo).
Box Art | OHM Don’t Give Up
The box art was a challenge for me! I had so many ideas, but none of them seemed “good enough”. One night, I was walking in the rain and an idea hit me: why not do a fairytale story sketch?
I took inspiration from my engagement photos. They were taken on a mountain top with a Little Red Riding Hood inspired dress that I made for the occasion. I loved the idea of a woman wearing a protective clock, on her journey up and over the “Don’t Give Up” mountain.
I sketched out my ideas and then created the final sketch. I coloured it in with a mixture of pencil crayons and prismacolor markers. The only thing I didn’t think about was the direction of the box, on the back. Which is why it’s in the opposite direction of other OHMistry boxes. Oops!
OHM Beads had the fantastic idea to add Don’t Give Up to the box art using the same font as the bottom of the bead. I loved that idea!
It was also during this time that I sent in my official bead description and artist biography. I found the artist biography SO hard to write! Special thank you to Nichol, my mom and Mike at OHM for giving me some ideas!
Approving the Insert
After the box art, bead description and artist biography were finalized, OHM Beads sent me the bead box insert to approve. We decided to showcase the “dark side” of the mountain, when you first open the box. It is the “start of the journey”, after all! When you unfold the insert and look inside, you would see the “light side” of the mountain.
Finalizing OHM Don’t Give Up
After the “big things” were completed, OHM Beads and I confirmed a few other things that included the announcement date and release date.
And…Here We Are!
9 days until OHM Don’t Give Up releases! It is so surreal, crazy amazing and exciting. A special thank you again to OHM Beads (and all of you) for making this huge dream come true for me. Means the world and back!
I cannot wait to see how you will style this bead, and to hear your “Don’t Give Up” stories. <3
Last week, I published a new YouTube video: My Harry Potter themed Pandora Bracelet. You might remember the blog post I did…well, this is an extension of that post, as well as showing how I styled my bracelet with a Harry Potter inspired outfit! You can watch the video, HERE.
In this video, I share my favourite items from the Pandora Winter collection and why they are meaningful to me! I also show how I chose to design and style them together, on bracelets and with two different outfits! I hope you enjoy this video…I love that Ella was able to co-host with me.
* These Pandora Jewellery items were gifted to me from Gold-N-Memories Pandora for our collaboration on Instagram! They were so sweet and sponsored some of my Instagram content in celebration of their new online store! I have been a huge fan and customer of Gold-N-Memories for around 2 years and I cannot recommend them enough! They have amazing customer service and ship Canada Wide! You can see their full Pandora collection online and can place an order on their estore or feel free to give them a call or send them an email, with your order (that’s what I love to do).
A few days ago, I posted my Autumn Style | Ohm Lucky Red video on my youtube channel. This is probably one of my most favourite videos I have done…because it turned out better than I had imagined and planned out, in my head!
I filmed half of the footage and Snowman helped film the scenes with Ella and I outdoors. He executed my vision perfectly. When I was editing through the footage, I couldn’t be more happier or impressed!!! It was hard to narrow down the footage to be around 6 minutes long…there were so many magical, outdoor scenes! Thank you so much, Snowman.
I love that I get to take you all along with me, as I go on a my daily autumn walk with Ella. The majority of the outdoor shots are taken at one of my favourite parks, that goes around a gorgeous lake. When we were filming, it was right near sunset and it felt extra enchanting…a true golden hour. The setting sun flickered through the vibrant coloured leaves and the wind blew about and it couldn’t have been more perfect or autumn-like.
Ohm Beads was kind enough to send me the Lucky Red Whip Bracelet to review (thank you so much…I would not have these opportunities without each and every one of you!). This bracelet had been on my Ohm Beads Wishlist (you can see it on my Instagram) after I saw it on their Instagram page. When I pulled it out of the packaging, the lucky red colour was even more vibrant in-person. It instantly inspired an autumn style themed video!!! However, I had to be patient because the weather was not in agreement to film, right away. It was stormy for about a week, haha. But I waited patiently and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon!
I styled my Ohm Lucky Red Whip Bracelet with Ohm Wood Ent, Ohm Thanks A Lot and Ohm Heart of the Woods. I also used the Ohm WHO clasp as a decorative feature.
In the video, I enjoyed Vanilla Cappuccino by DAVIDsTEA. This was a tea my friend, Jo had recommended. When I am not sure how many grams of tea to purchase, I love to try it, “to go”. I decided to get, Vanilla Cappuccino, as a latte with almond milk. It was soo delicious and I am going to be purchasing at least 100 grams!
