My Favourite Christmas and Holiday Teas | Beadmas 2020 | #BeadmasStories
Happy Beadmas 2020! I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the week!
In today’s blog post, I am sharing my two favourite Christmas teas from DAVIDsTEA, as well as two Christmas/Holiday and Tea-themed OHM Beads bracelets.

OHM Tea Bag, OHM Lucky Red OHM Whip Bracelet My first favourite Christmas tea has been a long-time favourite. It is called Santa’s Secret from DAVIDsTEA. It has black tea leaves, candy cane sprinkles, peppermint leaves and vanilla flavouring for ingredients! Here is what DAVIDsTEA has to say about it:

I love making Santa’s Secret as a latte. It is a cozy, delicious treat. This tea just brings me back to that cozy, light-hearted Christmas feeling.

Photo courtesy of OHM Beads. As all of you know, I am a HUGE tea addict and I have embarrassingly large cupboards of teas (yes, I said cupboards). But not to worry, they are all organized by tea type (green, oolong, black, etc.) as well tea bags and loose leaf teas. It is very safe for me to say that I could probably open up my own tea shop, with the amount of teas I have!
Am I the only one? Do you have a large tea cupboard? Or cupboards?!
One of the reasons I love tea is because of the experiences that goes along with it.
Here are some of my favourite tea experiences:
– the art of making tea is a relaxing experience that provides a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life. I love preparing the perfect cup of tea or tea latte. It is a time to stay present, in the moment!
– designing with the OHM Alice in Wonderland collection
– picking out the perfect mug or tea cup is such a fun experience!
– afternoon tea or high tea is honestly the BEST way to catch up with loved ones and create memories to last a life time!
– having a friend over for tea!
– after dinner dessert…usually mean tea! And usually means time with love ones!
– TEA PARTIES!!!!
– going to a local tea shop and smelling and sampling hundreds of amazing teas…one of the best ways to spend an hour, if you ask me!
– grabbing a tea-to-go and going for walk in a winter wonderland or on an autumn day…nothing quite like it!
– bubble tea or iced tea…on a hot summer’s day. Again…nothing quite like it!
– sharing a cup of tea with a guinea pig named, Harlow. THE BEST!
– Unboxing a tea order! OR…the OHM Tea Bag BOTM Bead!!!!

Inner Self | Ohm Beads BOTM
No. 48/555 Inner Self OHM BOTM In May 2019, Ohm Beads released their limited edition, OHM BOTM (Bead of the Month). They called it, Inner Self. These beads are uniquely special…there are only 555 of them, all with different variations of colour and detail in the embedded glass detail held inside exquisitely detailed sterling silver. Upon ordering, you will have no idea which embedded glass detail you will receive…the anticipation and guessing makes the arrival of this charm extra special!
The experience of opening this charm was truly incredible! I will be posting a youtube video of it, as well! Keep an eye out.
Unboxing the Ohm Bead, Inner Self Each bead is serialized and engraved with an individual code and is sealed in a wooden keepsake box with golden lock and a mini, cotton black bag. The wooden box comes inside a velvet pouch, cleaning cloth and envelope. A mini certificate of authenticity with the number in the series is included. My bead is number 48/555. The charm retails for $140 CAD and let me tell you…it was worth every penny to me!
No. 48/555 The meaning behind this charm is quite a personal one. Although, I won’t dive into the whole story (I will one day soon, promise)…this charm represents an injury/health problem I have currently been battling the past 1.5 years. It hasn’t been easy, but I find the best thing is to stay positive, focus on the good and trust in God.
The Inner Self bead I received is just perfect for me! It is primarily spotted green with white and gold speckled details. It reminds me of my love of the forest and outdoors. Whenever I feel overwhelmed or needing to “escape”…I want to run away into the forest! Whether it is just to read, run or hike, I feel most myself when I am surrounded by trees and forest creatures!
Inner Self – Bead of the Month Ohm Beads’ meaning behind the charm is wonderful. Here is their inspiration behind it: One’s inner self is only partially exposed to the light of the sun. Sometimes it feels like we are showing ourselves fully but that is not true. So much remains hidden, and usually by choice. Our choice. When we prejudge the value of self before ever opening up to another soul we deprive ourselves of seeing ourselves as whole. Think of your whole private self. That self you become when you are alone, safe, comfortable, free of responsibilities and expectation. What are you like? Where are you? The WHY of existence is clear when you are here in the NOW. You are a fool with a magician’s power. You hold the keys to your life’s unlimited possibilities. Let your inner self open up to others, and you… you listen to your inner self.

Back View This charm was much bigger than I was expecting it to be! It is quite the statement piece and would make a great centre piece charm or even a pendant! It is nearly an inch wide. I will keep you posted on how I end up styling it!
Can you see the specks of gold? I highly recommend this charm. It is absolutely exquisite and if it holds a special meaning for you…it is worth the investment! It ships from Thailand, but I found it didn’t take too long to arrive! Beautifully packaged and arrived safe and sound.
