Pandora releases their Cinderella 70th Anniversary Capsule Collection | Disney x Pandora

The Capsule Collection:
Pandora’s design team worked with a Disney Princess Specialist to ensure every piece of jewellery perfectly reflects the beloved fairytale. Each hand-finished pieces are inspired by Disney Cinderella’s journey and feature beloved characters and themes from the film.
Tapping into beloved characters and themes from the film, the designers carefully created pieces inspired by Disney Cinderella’s enchanting journey.
It is very hard for me to pick a favourite from this collection. As many of you know, I am a huge Disney Cinderella lover. In fact, my miniature poodle name (Ella) was inspired by Cinderella herself!
I have two Cinderella themed Pandora Bracelets already and I think it is safe to say that I will be starting a third! I love every single one of these charms! I also love the new earrings, necklace and ring. They have such intricate and whimsical details.The Bracelet:
I love that Pandora made the Pumpkin Coach into a clasp! I am currently debating if I should change my Ella themed bracelet from my Disney Parks Pandora Moments Bracelet for this one! It is so beautiful.
The Charms:
This dangle reminds me of my guinea pigs and Ella. I am currently debating whether it should go on my Ella themed Pandora Bracelet or add it to a new bracelet design. I will keep you guys posted!
I love openwork charms and this one has the clock tower on the back!
It is so lovely to see little Suzy and a sewing themed charm from Pandora. I have wanted a sewing charm for YEARS! As many of you know, my background is in Fashion Design and I have always been sad that Pandora never released a sewing charm into their Hobby charms. It is finally here and it could not be more adorable or magical! I love this scene from the movie.
The scene where the Fairy-Godmother transforms Cinderella’s torn dress into an enchanting ballgown is iconic and a beloved magical moment! I love how Pandora added blue cubic zirconia’s to represent the Fairy-Godmother’s magic!
If I had to pick a favourite Disney character, it would have to be Gus (Gus Gus). He is so funny and sweet. I love how Pandora added his hat with green enamel detailing. He also has the cutest little expression on his face!
Pandora updated the two-tone 14 ct. gold version of the Carriage charm into an enchanting Pandora Rose version! It looks so feminine and romantic. It will pair beautifully with the Disney Parks Cinderella Coach Charm.

Back in June, Trollbeads had a wonderful summer sale on their retired beads! I found out about this sale through my friend, Linda @LSN2 on Instagram. After watching her IGTV videos on the beads she purchased, I could not resist logging onto the Trollbeads website and seeing what else was available. As soon as I saw that 4 of my Wishlist items were included in the sale, I could not resist!
In today’s Youtube video, I share an unboxing of the four new beads I ordered from the Trollbeads sale. I also share how I incorporated these beads onto my existing Trollbeads foxtail charm bracelet.

I had also hoped to get the English Tea Party bead, but unfortunately it was already sold out! I have seen it available from some US retailers (with the help of Linda), but with the current Canadian dollar, I am going to wait for a better deal to come along. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be!

Tomorrow, June 19th, 2020 my OHMistry Project bead OHM Don’t Give Up launches at 10:00 AM PT/1:00 PM EST. I am so excited! A huge thank you to OHM Beads and this amazing community for helping make this dream come true for me!!!
In this blog and video post, I am sharing a bracelet design using OHM Don’t Give Up. The bracelet theme is inspired by fairytales because I currently feel like I am in one, with this bead launch! Faith Over Fear | Don’t Give Up!
I had so much fun designing a fairytale themed bracelet with my bead. While this is not a permanent design, I am loving how OHM Don’t Give Up looks with the OHM Unicorny glass beads, and a few other special OHM Beads. It has a light-hearted, feminine feel to it.

Ideas, Stories and Inspirations…

After brainstorming through my inspirations for my bead, I began to sketch out some ideas. I knew I wanted a mountain/journey concept, with a “dark” scary side and a “light” happy side. It was important this bead had a nature and fairytale theme too.
I was also inspired by my favourite bible verse, Hebrews 11:1 ⛰ ✨Sketching it out…
After I sketched out a few ideas, I sent my sketches and design concept to OHM Beads. We began to collaborate on the bead design! They took my ideas/concepts and transformed them into an incredible bead design. I had so many ideas for a tiny bead and I was shocked at how many of those ideas they were able to keep or expand on.
They also asked me a wonderful question: did I want the bead to be like a real mountain or more of a fictional idea? I loved their idea of a real mountain, so we went with that concept!
They sent the bead concept art to me and we tweaked around with the bead design together, playing around with snakes, wolves and ghostly creatures!
They also added an adorable mushroom house to the “light side” of the mountain. This touch was so “me” and makes me smile to this day! So sweet of them to add that detail in!After we approved the final design, it was time to test the design out in wax!
Lost-Wax Casting
OHM Beads sent me videos and photos of OHM Don’t Give Up in the lost-wax carving. The process of lost-wax casting allows intricate details to be achieved. It also provides an idea of the size and a safe testing ground to see what the details will look like, before testing it out in sterling silver.
It was fascinating to see the journey of a sketch transform into a wax carving! I was shocked to see how many details were achieved on wax.
After the wax casting was approved, it was time to move forward and create the silver master mold!Silver Master Mold
The silver master mold was incredible to see! OHM Beads sent me photos and videos from every angle. They even added a blue sharpie pen over the laser engraving placement on the You Did It, so we could see it clearly.
All our ideas were captured perfectly. The details from the wax were maintained. I could not get over how much detail made it onto a small bead. I also LOVED the font OHM Beads chose for the bottom of the bead that reads, “Don’t Give Up”.

The box art was a challenge for me! I had so many ideas, but none of them seemed “good enough”. One night, I was walking in the rain and an idea hit me: why not do a fairytale story sketch?
I took inspiration from my engagement photos. They were taken on a mountain top with a Little Red Riding Hood inspired dress that I made for the occasion. I loved the idea of a woman wearing a protective clock, on her journey up and over the “Don’t Give Up” mountain.Engagement photos taken by Calyssa Lorraine I sketched out my ideas and then created the final sketch. I coloured it in with a mixture of pencil crayons and prismacolor markers. The only thing I didn’t think about was the direction of the box, on the back. Which is why it’s in the opposite direction of other OHMistry boxes. Oops!
OHM Beads had the fantastic idea to add Don’t Give Up to the box art using the same font as the bottom of the bead. I loved that idea!
It was also during this time that I sent in my official bead description and artist biography. I found the artist biography SO hard to write! Special thank you to Nichol, my mom and Mike at OHM for giving me some ideas!Approving the Insert
After the box art, bead description and artist biography were finalized, OHM Beads sent me the bead box insert to approve. We decided to showcase the “dark side” of the mountain, when you first open the box. It is the “start of the journey”, after all! When you unfold the insert and look inside, you would see the “light side” of the mountain.
Finalizing OHM Don’t Give Up
After the “big things” were completed, OHM Beads and I confirmed a few other things that included the announcement date and release date.
And…Here We Are!
9 days until OHM Don’t Give Up releases! It is so surreal, crazy amazing and exciting. A special thank you again to OHM Beads (and all of you) for making this huge dream come true for me. Means the world and back!
I cannot wait to see how you will style this bead, and to hear your “Don’t Give Up” stories. <3

The Matcha Teas:
I ordered three matcha teas from DAVIDsTEA. I am a huge matcha lover and enjoy it daily! It provides wonderful health benefits (check out my IGTV video to learn more), but also tastes soo so delicious too!
Raspberry Matcha
One of the teas I had to stock up on is Raspberry Matcha. You might remember seeing me review and talk about it on my IGTV videos, as well as my last DAVIDsTEA Youtube video.
On IGTV, I made it iced and in the YouTube video, I made it hot. I absolutely love both options, but if I were to recommend how to try it first: make it iced! The last Matcha tea I ordered is one that I have been quite curious to try! I had attempted to order it, on my past DAVIDsTEA order, but it sadly was cancelled. This time, I got lucky and was able to get it!!!
Bubblegum Matcha does not sound like a drink I would enjoy hot, but as an iced matcha or popsicle, it sounded very appealing! Both Linda @LSN2 and I were so curious about it. I decided to order 50grams to try it out.

I also ordered another favourite tea of mine: The Countess of Seville. I tend to stock up on this tea quite often! It is a delicious blend of green tea with bergamot and light citrus notes.
This tea is an online exclusive. It does not always show up on DAVIDsTEA’s estore, when it is sold out. If you don’t see it right away, make sure to check back! As I write this blog post, it currently is sold out and it was harder to find! I ended up doing a google search to find a link for it!There are so many rumours about Earl Grey and his gallivanting ways. We like this one, about a trip he took to Spain. It’s said he fell for the Countess of Seville, a beautiful, dark-haired woman with a penchant for oranges. But did he really woo her with this green tea scented with bergamot, orange oil, cornflowers and orange zest? Either way, it’s a sweet, romantic twist on his original recipe. (MK Kosher).

The Fruit Infusion Herbal Teas:
The last two teas I ordered were both fruit infusion herbal teas.
Unicorn Dream
A new fruit infusion favourite is Unicorn Dream! I ordered it in my past DAVIDsTEA order and I became addicted! I especially love this tea iced, but it is delicious hot too. This tea is quite sweet and very flavourful. Usually, I am not a fan of teas that have stevia added, but this one is an exception! I also think it would taste delicious as a popsicle too.

The last tea I have to share with you is one that is also packed with flavour. It is called Rainbow Lemonade.
I could not wait to make it! I made it iced first and it had a delicious tangy, but sweet vibe to it! I also think it is beautiful to look at!
I also enjoyed it hot and it was delicious too, but honestly…I think this tea is a great iced tea choice for your Summer afternoons!

The Story & Inspiration Behind my Bead Design with OHM Beads | Don’t Give Up

This past Saturday, I premiered a special video on Youtube. It is part two of my “Exciting Announcement” video. If you remember from my previous blog post, I shared that I will be OHM Beads June 2020 OHMistry Project. This means I got to design my own bead with OHM Beads! It is such a surreal, crazy dream come true.
In my new video, I share a detailed look at my bead, as well as the story and inspirations behind it. This is probably my most personal (and slightly vulnerable) video yet. OHM Don’t Give Up
My OHMistry Project bead is called, DON’T GIVE UP. It is a silver oxidized bead and will be releasing on June 19th, 2020 at 10:00 AM Pacific time zone.
The limited-edition release of DON’T GIVE UP is part of Project OHMistry and is limited to 111 signed and serialized pieces. A certificate of authenticity is included inside a limited edition box (I actually got to illustrate the box art myself).
As mentioned in my video, this bead reflects a journey. It is a mountain that has a dark side and a light side to it. Here is the story behind the bead:
