Yesterday (June 28th, 2020), we celebrated Ella’s “Gotcha Day”. I had never heard of a “Gotcha Day” before adopting Ella. A “Gotcha Day” is like a birthday, however it is celebrated on the day you brought your furry friend home.
Ella’s “Gotcha Day” was so fun! I made sure the day was extra special for her. We have Ella some special new treats and bones! And I also had a fun virtual Tea “PAWty” for her. I filmed the Tea “PAWty” for my #TeaTimeTuesday IGTV series. If you would like to join in on the celebrations, you can watch the video HERE or down below:
Have you heard of a “Gotcha Day” before? I think it is such a cute idea!
I had so much fun enjoying tea and treats with Ella and Georgina. I hope you did too! xo
It was my first time visiting a Shop Disney store since February/stores closed for lockdown. The Shop Disney stores are starting to open back up and I couldn’t wait to go visit! A special thank you to My Pretty Charmed Life and Disney Hungry for letting me know they were opening!
Besides shopping at DAVIDsTEA and Pandora stores, the Disney Store is my favourite place to go to do some good ol’ retail therapy, haha. What about you?
You can hear more about the outfit details and see closeup shots in my recent #StyleSunday IGTV video HERE or down below:
And that concludes today’s Fashion Diaries post! I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and have a great week ahead!

Pictures from the Birthday Celebration:
We had such a lovely time dining out together. Her husband also came and we enjoyed a delicious brunch. Tiara and I also both treated ourselves to a delicious mimosa!
It was also cute because Tiara and I both were “twinning” with our blue and white floral dresses! Totally unplanned. Great minds think alike 😉 Also: Can you spot her Cult Gaia bag? Love it!!!
Look at that gorgeous mountain view behind us!!!
Where I live, Covid-19 cases are currently low. Many restaurants and stores have opened back up, with strong social distancing and safety measures being taken.
At Seasons in the Park, all the servers wore plastic face covers, in addition to their masks and all guests were seated within a safe distance from each other. Since the restaurant was serving at half it’s capacity, it also made for a very intimate birthday celebration!
What is Covid-19 like in your area?
Time for Gifts and Cake with the Birthday Girl:
And that concludes today’s Fashion Diaries post! I hope you enjoy the rest of your Tuesday and don’t forget that a new Tea Time Tuesday is up on my IGTV!
Hello everyone! I hope this blog post finds you and your loved ones safe, healthy and well, during this time. It is summer time here in Canada and I have been enjoying as much time outdoors, as possible! This includes lots of my favourite summer activities, such as: hiking mountains, exploring outdoor gardens, having picnics and patio dining with Ella. I have also had too many delicious iced teas and iced matcha to count! What are your favourite summer activities?
In today’s blog post, I am sharing a look at Ogerbeads‘ newest Spring/Summer release: The Blossom Collection. This collection features 10 new Murano glass beads and 2 silver beads. This collection was delayed due to COVID-19, but I am so happy it will be officially launching today, Friday July 10th at 12:00 Amsterdam Time (6:00 AM EST).
So, if you are ready to see the beautiful new beads from Ogerbeads, make sure to grab a delicious cup of iced tea and let’s get started!
A special thank you to Ogerbeads for letting me use their official stock photos for this blog post.
The Blossom Collection features 6 vibrantly coloured floral glass beads and 4 pastel glass beads.
The Collection Overview:
A Closer Look:
The Pixiedust Fragment Beads:
I love these new pixie dust fragment beads! I love pastel and neutral colours, so I instantly gravitated towards these beads. They are feminine and remind me of the spring time. They look magical with that touch of golden sparkle.
They are also very elegant and I can see myself dressing them up for a romantic evening or spring/summer wedding.
The Blossom Beads:
The Blossom Beads offer a refreshing pop of colour and make me think of running in a field of flowers or my mother’s garden back home! I can picture myself wearing these with one of my favourite white blouses or dresses.
I love the swirling white details and lifted bubble accents. They really evoke that “feeling” a summer breeze.
The Silver Beads of Spring and Summer:
The Tree of Love
The Tree of Love looks beautiful. It has heart shaped leaves and tree roots, a lovely symbol of connection and family. It reads: “Tree of Love” along the sides of the bead. I am looking forward to seeing this bead in-person! Love takes root and grows in so many amazing ways, I love that this bead is a reflection of that!
The Bee Hive:
The Bee Hive bead is beautifully detailed! I love the floral and vine accents going over the bee hive. There are a few bees with their wings spread out, buzzing about their home…such a sweet detail! I am curious to see the size of this bead, in-person. I am also intrigued by the doorway, into the hive…is it oxidized or can you see inside the bead? I cannot wait to find out!
And that concludes a look at the new Ogerbeads collection releasing today! What do you think of this new collection? Do you have any favourites? Please let me know down below!
A few days ago, I posted my Autumn Style | Ohm Lucky Red video on my youtube channel. This is probably one of my most favourite videos I have done…because it turned out better than I had imagined and planned out, in my head!
I filmed half of the footage and Snowman helped film the scenes with Ella and I outdoors. He executed my vision perfectly. When I was editing through the footage, I couldn’t be more happier or impressed!!! It was hard to narrow down the footage to be around 6 minutes long…there were so many magical, outdoor scenes! Thank you so much, Snowman.
I love that I get to take you all along with me, as I go on a my daily autumn walk with Ella. The majority of the outdoor shots are taken at one of my favourite parks, that goes around a gorgeous lake. When we were filming, it was right near sunset and it felt extra enchanting…a true golden hour. The setting sun flickered through the vibrant coloured leaves and the wind blew about and it couldn’t have been more perfect or autumn-like.
Ohm Beads was kind enough to send me the Lucky Red Whip Bracelet to review (thank you so much…I would not have these opportunities without each and every one of you!). This bracelet had been on my Ohm Beads Wishlist (you can see it on my Instagram) after I saw it on their Instagram page. When I pulled it out of the packaging, the lucky red colour was even more vibrant in-person. It instantly inspired an autumn style themed video!!! However, I had to be patient because the weather was not in agreement to film, right away. It was stormy for about a week, haha. But I waited patiently and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon!
I styled my Ohm Lucky Red Whip Bracelet with Ohm Wood Ent, Ohm Thanks A Lot and Ohm Heart of the Woods. I also used the Ohm WHO clasp as a decorative feature.
In the video, I enjoyed Vanilla Cappuccino by DAVIDsTEA. This was a tea my friend, Jo had recommended. When I am not sure how many grams of tea to purchase, I love to try it, “to go”. I decided to get, Vanilla Cappuccino, as a latte with almond milk. It was soo delicious and I am going to be purchasing at least 100 grams! If you are interested in ordering it, feel free to shop my affiliates links below:
A new video is up on my youtube channel! I am so proud with how this video turned out. Would you believe I probably spent about 12.5 hours total with filming and editing? I tend to get these fun ideas and images in my head of how I want a video to look…and I may get a bit crazy with filming and editing to make it as close to the ideas in my head!
I often get asked, “who films your videos”. This is such a compliment to me because…well, actually I film all my own footage and edit it myself!!! I usually set up a tripod and play around with different angles. This may take more time, but it is worth it because I get some lovely shots.
Occasionally, (more so, if I am outdoors), my husband will help take some footage for me. I don’t like leaving my tripod and camera unattended, so I feel safer having him around to guide the camera! However, this can be challenging too because I am not always sure if he is capturing the exact angle I am envisioning. Often, I’ll try to show him first, so he can have a rough idea. But what also ends up happening, is he sees a cool shot or angle and I end up loving that too! In this particular video however, it was all filmed by me!
This particular video features my Pandora Valentine’s Day bracelet (all about the charm meanings and why I put them on) as well as detailed information about my Valentine’s Day outfit and other accessories including handbag, shoes and other Pandora jewellery. Here’s a couple shots:
What did you wear on Valentine’s Day and did you have a special Valentine’s Day outfit?
When it’s a warmer winter day and the sun is shining, it is so nice to go outside for an afternoon stroll. Although, my husband and I love to go on walks (or hikes) together, no matter the weather! It is such a great time to catch up on each other’s lives, share ideas and enjoy one another’s company. AND…to take some fun photos of each other!
While my husband is a bit “social media shy”, he did let me post one photo of him, or rather…his favourite shoes (see below). And he helped me take some photos of my outfit! Usually, I am always setting up my tripod and putting the timer on to take my outfit photos. But wow!!! He was such a huge help and we had fun taking creative shots together. He was so great at listening to my ideas and making them happen! What a difference it makes having your best friend help you!
Following this particular afternoon stroll/fun mini photo shoot, we headed over to a local cafe for some delicious tea lattes. They were wonderful, but sadly…no pictures to tempt you with!
Let’s head over to the outfit photos!
I was wearing a wool coat, but since it wasn’t freezing outside, I decided I could brave a bit more cold…for a few outfit of the day photos! 😉
These flats are so comfortable and easy to walk in. And I love the light blush colour and velvet finish. I tend to opt for flats whenever possible or a nice chunky heel for casual weekends.
My husband loves these shoes. He has had them for over a year and loves dressing them up or down. He got them at the Hudson’s Bay.
Today’s bracelet stack combined my, Enchanted Forest Pandora Rose Bracelet with my Pandora Rose Bangle. I also wore my tan sliding leather bracelet on my other wrist with accompanying rose charms. And (of course) a few Pandora Rings and my fairytale tiara earrings.
I purchased this Nanette Lepore blush pink handbag back in the summer time and what a fantastic purchase it was! I have worn it so many times and I find the colour still works well for the fall and winter, depending on what you pair with it! Blush can be a neutral! And I love how it looks paired with my box pleat pants.
Well, it has been a very “Disney-fied” time on my youtube channel recently. I am slowly finishing my way through my Disneyland videos. As of most recently, I have published both my Disneyland and Disney x Pandora Park Exclusive charm videos to youtube (see below). And I am currently working on my final instalment of my Fashion Diaries | Disneyland series. With this instalment, I am trying to fit days 4, 5 and 6 together. Here’s hoping I can edit the footage so it is not too long. The only sad part is, I ended up loosing my day 4 video footage, so it will be mostly photos on that day.
Once I have finished editing and uploading all my Disney content, I will be in full Christmas mode. I am really looking forward to filming some fun Christmas content for you…and (of course) that will include my updated Pandora Christmas bracelet!
It’s been a bit of a delay since my last blog post! So much has happened the past two months, but the most exciting was my husband and I’s trip to Disneyland! It was the absolute best. Since I wasn’t able to go on rides (health reasons), I took a TON of video footage of all our adventures and I decided it would be fun to start a series called, Fashion Diaries. Basically, it’ll be a look into what I did and what I wore during special events, vacations, day in the life, etc.
So far, I have three videos published in my Fashion Diaries series, Disneyland Edition! I will leave them linked below. I hope to finish up days 4,5,6 either in 1-2 more videos. I ended up loosing the video footage from day 4 (so sad), so it should be easy to put days 4 and 5 together. Possibly, even day 6…depending on how long the footage is!
These videos are so much fun to edit, although they do take quite a bit of time! I have over an hours worth of footage for each day. It is amazing editing the footage because it truly transports me right back into Disneyland…I can relive all the magical moments!
Have you ever been to Disneyland? Or a special place you love to visit? I would love to know!
Hello Everyone! Here is a highly requested video about my wedding dress. This wedding dress is very special to me because I designed and made it myself! As a few of you know, I went to school for Fashion Design and it was so amazing to have complete creative freedom in designing my wedding gown. Everything from the fabric, to the silhouette, to the small details…it was such a special project! This video will include the process (and adventures) of designing my gown and some of the special details I love!!! I also go over my complete wedding look including shoes, veil, jewellery/accessories, flowers, makeup and hair! Oh, and of course my Pandora Bracelets! I truly hope you enjoy this video and thank you so much for requesting it. It was such fun to “re-live” the memories. I haven’t actually looked at my wedding dress since the big day…so you’ll get to see my reaction 3 years later, haha.
