Here are some photos taken back on August 29th. I was at a local cafe, enjoying the end of summer while sketching out some more ideas for my OHMistry Project bead: DON’T GIVE UP. Also, can you spot my mini poodle puppy Ella, on my lap? She’s such a cutie!
My OHMistry Project bead is called, DON’T GIVE UP. It is a silver oxidized bead and will be releasing on June 19th, 2020 at 10:00 AM Pacific. As per the OHMistry Project beads, it is a limited edition bead! There will only be 111 made…which makes it extra special!
Over the next few weeks, I will continue to share the journey of designing this bead with OHM Beads, the inspiration/story behind it, as well as an unboxing and detailed look at this bead! At the present moment, I am waiting for my bead to arrive, so I can see it for the first time! I cannot wait to hold it and see all the special details in person.

In this video, I share my Pandora charms haul from their early March 2020 promotion, here in Canada. Now, let me share the story behind my Enchanted Mouse Pandora Charm. His item number is, 791107. This adorable little mouse was originally released in 2013, and is now retired. Depending on your location, he may go by the name, Mouse in the Cup.
Some of my favourite details:
– he proudly wears the Pandora crown
– his cute little whiskers and pointy nose
– his tail curling down outside of the teacup
– he is nestled inside a teacup and saucer
– the tea cup has beautiful little accents, like you would find on a real teacup
– placed inside the teacup is the adorable, “Be Mine” heart shaped balloon, a lovely nod to Valentine’s Day
The Enchanted Mouse Pandora charm found a home on my Tea themed Pandora Moments bracelet, a two tone charm bracelet with Pandora Rose and Sterling Silver. I added some pops of colour with touches of purple and pink enamel details. I have my “tea themed” charms on my 17 cm, Pandora Moments Heart Clasp Snake Chain Bracelet.

Paragon Tea Room | My favourite place to get tea, in the city | BUT AKA: how tea makes dreams come true.

Right: We walked into the tea room, which shares space with a local coffee shop. I looked up at the logo…and instantly felt I had found some where special!
On April 10th, 2019…I did not realize I would be stepping into my favourite place for tea. One of my best friends, Tiara had been talking about this new tea salon that opened up beside her gym…and how I just HAD to go.
April 10th, 2019…it was a really hard and emotional day. I was waiting to hear back about Harlow’s (my late guinea pig) test results, going through an extremely “burnt out” period of life, frustrated with health issues and needing to make some big life decisions. Tiara was so sweet and spent that entire day with me. As a doctor, she knew the best medicine for me: she took me to, Paragon Tea Salon for my first cup of tea misto.Tiara and I waited in line and I gazed up at the menu. I wanted to try EVERYTHING!!!
When we got to the front of the line, we were greeted by Michelle, the owner of Paragon. She was a breath of fresh air and so welcoming. I was so impressed that she knew Tiara, by name…and you could just tell she genuinely loves her customers and takes time to get to know them and build a relationship.
She was equally excited that I was about to try, the paragon way for the first time. After some helpful recommendations from, Michelle…I decided to settle on the, High Mountain Roasted Oolong Tea Misto. Although…I was very close to ordering a matcha misto, haha!
When we were in line…I had to take a photo of the menu options! I wanted to be able to look back on it, to show my husband and talk him into coming back with me, haha.

Michelle started to make our tea mistos and I couldn’t get over how she was making them!!! TEA-like espresso! It was the coolest thing EVER. I actually ended up take a short video of the experience of making a cup of tea misto. It was so fascinating for me! 100ml of strong and delicious tea…Michelle making my first cup from Paragon! My husband’s first cup of Paragon!
After our teas were ready, Tiara and I sat beside the window and chatted the afternoon away, as we sipped our delicious teas. She gave me sound advice.
But how was the tea?!!! THE TEA WAS SOOOO AMAZING! Perfect temperature, perfectly steeped. Perfect frothed almond milk (although…I ended up switching to oat milk afterwards, thanks to Michelle’s advice on my second visit). And to top the drink to perfection: the perfect cup to truly taste the aroma and essence of the tea!
I couldn’t wait to bring, Snowman (my husband) to try these teas!!! And I also couldn’t wait to go back myself.

During my conversations with, Tiara…I received a phone call from Harlow’s vet…that she needed to be brought in for more testing. The rest of this story, breaks my heart…as I didn’t know that only a few days later, my little Harlow would be passing away in my arms. Many of you know this story, so I won’t go into details here.Harlow truly loved her tea and loved to #HarlowApprove my tea of the day.
I had hoped to do this blog post, shortly after my first visit, but with Harlow’s passing and that crazy “burnt out” period…I just didn’t have the time or energy.
However, I continued to go to Paragon and fell more and more in-love with the atmosphere, teas and people! I also made sure to bring Snowman (my husband) and he instantly became a huge fan. He often joined my on these visits.My Husband’s First Visit. e
Harlow’s passing was a big wake up call to me, to start taking care of myself and my health more. Whenever I needed to take a break…I went to Paragon. It became the place where I started focusing on new goals and dreams; a place I could escape to and just “be”. I made some of my biggest dreams and goals there, while sipping tea and taking in the peaceful, creative atmosphere. I typed these goals and dreams into my phone, laptop or note paper. And the crazy thing is…every single one has come true, in less than a year. I still cannot believe that! It proves how magical tea can be…when you add it to your dream planning ingredients, haha. Oooh..and put those dreams and goals into action, of course 😉Some of the delicious teas I have tried since my first visit!
One of my dreams, popped into my head about 2 months after Harlow’s passing. I was sitting with my husband (at Paragon, of course) and I just had this thought and major gut feeling that I needed a dog. My husband stopped sipping his tea and just looked at me…”really? Are you sure the timing is right? Shouldn’t you just focus on your health, etc?” I explained to him why this was the BEST idea, BEST medicine (besides tea) and BEST dream ever.
In that exact moment, I was convinced and when I want something, I will not give up, (poor husband). I wanted to adopt my very own puppy! I have always been a huge dog lover, since I was a little girl. But I never had the time or lifestyle to be able to take proper care for a puppy. After some big “life decision making”, the timing was perfect…and I just had a feeling that Harlow would approve of this decision. My husband soon (willingly, promise!) agreed and trusted my planner instincts, haha.
Ella came into our life and I’ll never forget bringing her to Paragon for her first visit. It was like that goal/dream had literally come full circle. It was truly incredible and felt like the biggest, “God Wink”.Ella’s first visit to Paragon. Ella being the cutest Paragon model, besides WALL-E, of course!
And just before picking up Ella…another dream came true…and then another one and another one…it was incredible. And they just kept on blossoming, even after adopting Ella.
That’s the thing with dreams and goals…you need to make time to work for them. And having a wonderful place to escape to…and focus on them, plan for them and to achieve them…makes all the difference. I am truly grateful for discovering Paragon, through a very transitional and difficult point, in my life. It gave me that space I needed to focus and I will forever be grateful for that! AND…for the delicious cups of tea!!!
I now live in a new home (one of my goals)…where I have my own office/creative space to continue making my dreams and goals come true. I still love to go to Paragon, but I now have the opportunity to make their delicious teas, at home too!! Such a treat!!!
My personal favourites are: Hojicha powder, Genmaicha powder, Mango Hojicha, Genmaicha (matcha coated) and the High Mountain Oolong (but I still have more to try)!
Paragon also has an online store, if you would like to try some of their teas. They ship or you can pickup in-store, if you live nearby!My first time making Hojicha at home!
They also have a wonderful mini gift shop…and I was able to get a beautiful new matcha bowl, right before Christmas! I love it soo much!
Well, there you have it! Quite a long and personal blog post…that was suppose to be JUST a tea review…that turned into a much more personal story. But I feel right sharing it because that is one thing I get asked all the time:
How do you stay so positive? Well, that’s for another blog post topic, if you’d like to hear it. But as you can tell, through this blog post…that period was extremely challenging, but when life gives you heartache and gloom…you make tea and focus on the true and good things in life. -
Pawfect “Disney in Pink” Pink Tail Co. Harness | Review
Ella looking pretty pawfect in her, “Disney in Pink” Harness One of Ella’s Christmas presents were a few new items from Pink Tail Co. I first discovered Pink Tail Co. back before I brought Ella home. I had done an instagram search for feminine, floral dog collars and they came up! I love to sew, but I often don’t have as much time (as I would like) to create clothing and accessory items. That being said, I just recently made Ella a few collars. It is sooo good to get back into some home sewing projects.
ANYWAAAAY!!! What attracted to me to Pink Tail Co. is that it is a small business and each collar is lovingly, handmade in San Francisco. If I didn’t have the time to make Ella a cute collar, I might as well find a company that could! I truly love supporting small businesses, as I find they have the BEST service and products and I use to be a small business owner myself! So, I really appreciate the time, talent and dedication that these owners put in to making their dreams come true! And I really want to support that.
My first order was the, Aurora Bundle. It came with a collar, bow and leash. It was too big for an 8 week old puppy, but I knew Ella would grow into it and I couldn’t have picked a better first choice. I loved the rose gold hardware and the floral, spring-like pattern. Ella was born on May 26th, 2019, so I wanted her first collar to reflect that time of the year. I also find it so special that Ella was born in May, as it is also a very romantic month for my husband and I. Our first date was on May 1st, 2009. He made it official on May 15th, 2009. And we got married on May 16th, 2015. SO…as you can see, having a collar that reflects a special month was very important to me.
When I received my first order, I became SO obsessed and couldn’t wait to order more. I also really hoped they would introduce harnesses! AND THEY DID!!! I ordered two, for Ella. The Aurora (of course), as well as the, “Disney in Pink” harness.
I had to get it with the rose gold hardware! I am so obsessed! This harness is beautifully made and having worked within the fashion and alterations industry, I appreciate the high quality and attention to detail that goes into it. It is durable, well made and you can tell the designer/owner truly understands what canines (and owners) need to feel comfortable, but also provided with function and style.
I really like how it fits around Ella’s collar bones and along her back and belly. It looks and appears to be a very comfortable fit. I am a huge fan of the Buddy Belts for this reason too, but Ella has wiggled out of them, on occasion, as it can be harder to find a perfect fit, especially for a poodle silhouette. I find the Pink Tail Co. stays on extremely well and I love how it is fully adjustable. I have yet to have Ella wiggle out during a play session outside or on a walk.

Speaking of which: another thing that I couldn’t get over, was I had purchased the harness during a Black Friday Promo and Pink Tail Co. adjusted the harness sizing to accommodate Ella’s poodle frame, at no additional cost! I was blown away…and this is something I think they SHOULD charge for, as someone who knows that it does take extra time to make those adjustments. BUT…wow! That just speaks volumes on their customer service and passion for a perfect fitting product.
Ella looking so cute in her harness! When I first opened it, I adjusted the harness to accommodate Ella’s sizing and it was so easy to put on her. Although she is a puppy, she is well trained with having clothing and accessories placed onto her, but some of these things can take a bit of time to put on, with the different closures, etc. Surprisingly, the Pink Tail Co. harness was faster than I expected and I think that has to do with the parachute buckle! The hardware does put this harness in a light to medium weight category, but it is not at all heavy or uncomfortable for smaller or medium sized dogs.
I also love that Pink Tail Co. added a cute rose gold logo onto their harnesses and collars. It is a perfect touch and feels so fancy.

Can you spot Minnie? As you all know, I am a HUGE Disney fan and I had been wanting to make Ella a Disney themed collar or harness for quite some time. Well, it was like Pink Tail Co. read my mind because when they brought out two beautiful and fun Disney options, I could not resist!!!!
I find the, “Disney in Pink” fabric so fun and also extra cute for Valentines, as well as the “French” poodle, hehe. And the cotton material is breathable, lightweight and flexible for a little puppy.

What Ella Got For Christmas
Little Ella full of Christmas Excitement! Today’s blog post is about Ella, my mini poodle puppy and what she got for Christmas! This was our first Christmas with her and it honestly ended up being the best Christmas EVER! She just adds such warmth and fun into our days, and Christmas was no exception.
While we did go to Toronto, right before Christmas (to see our family and friends), I really wanted to be back home to celebrate Christmas in our new home with our Guineas and Ella! I am really happy we made this decision because it ended up being the most peaceful, relaxing and joyful Christmas morning I’ve ever experienced.
After sleeping in (we usually go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve), I got up and made some morning teas (Santa’s Secret* from DAVIDsTEA, of course) and got Snowman (my husband) and Ella out of bed. I was SO excited for Ella to open up her stocking filled with toys! “Santa Paws” had arrived late that night and filled up her fluffy stocking (Nicole Miller), with lots of surprises! I brought my tripod out, so I could film the moment, but be present and not distracted, as it recorded! It was soo fun to see Ella’s excitement as she stuck her head in and pulled out different presents! One of her favourites was a cute mini Santa I got from Petsmart, as well as a “Sniffany and Co.” blue bone complete with ribbon (by Dog Diggin Designs). She also liked the organic pink candy cane too (by Simply Fido)!

These are a few of Ella’s favourite things! After that, my husband and I opened our gifts. Ella was curious and full of wonder, as we unwrapped and opened each one. And to her excitement, the last gift, under the tree was for her! We got her a “Miss Dogior – Barking Bouquet” perfume stuffy (by Haute Diggity Dog) and three delicious treats (Unicorn “poop”, Christmas “brownie” and Reindeer “cookie”). It was so fun seeing her unwrap her gift. I asked her which treat she’d like to enjoy and I must say, she takes after her mom! She chose the unicorn “poop” rainbow themed treat! I did take videos of this too. I think I will save these videos for my Pawfectella Vlogs (still debating if I should do one big long video or a few mini ones!).
I also added Ella’s “Chewy Vuiton” (by Haute Diggity Dog) to this photo because she loves this toy! She loves to carry it around by the handle, which is so adorable to watch.
Can you spot the Chewy Vuiton? I got most of Ella’s presents at a store called, Barking Babies. I love going there to find special and unique things for my little pup! This was the first ever store we took Ella too, right after we picked her up, to get her a harness. At 8 weeks, she was super small and the associate was so sweet and welcoming to us! I was really impressed with the level of service and it keeps me coming back time and time again!
Before Christmas, I also picked up a few adorable Christmas themed toys for Ella. I really love going to Marshalls/Winners/Homesense because they have a great pet section for Dog and Cat owners. I find great deals on such cute themed toys! One of Ella’s favourites is by Zippy Paws. It is an interactive toy that provides so much fun for Ella and I! The stuffed toy is a big red mug of “hot chocolate” with two large holes and “marshmallows” that can be pulled out from the holes. She loves finding and pulling out the squeaky marshmallows and we have fun tossing and throwing them around. I have some cute videos of Ella playing with this toy on her Instagram, if you’d like to see. This toy is Ella’s favourite and because of that, I ended up getting her a similar “Pumpkin Spice” toy from Petsmart too (not pictured). She loves this one too!
I also got one Eggnog “puppuccino” (by Fuzzyard) and one Gingerbread “puppuccino” (by Bow Wow Pet Products) for Ella from Marshalls/Winners/Homesense too! Her Daddy’s favourite holiday drink are Eggnog Lattes, while I am a huge fan of the Gingerbread Lattes! Oh, and I got her a cute red stuffy bone that says, “Puppy’s First Christmas”. I had gotten a similar one at Halloween and they are great for photos!
Look at all those puppuccinos!!! During the Black Friday Sales, one of my favourite online dog accessories stores, had a great deal and I stocked up on some pieces I had been wanting to get Ella! They are called, Pink Tail Co. and I absolutely LOOOOVE their designs, quality and service. I got her two adorable harnesses. One is the, “Aurora” to match Ella’s leash, bow and collar I purchased back in July. And the other was, “Disney in Pink“. I also got her an adorable gingerbread themed collar and bow!!! Too cute to resist! I regret not getting a matching leash.
Ella also got spoiled by our loved ones! She got a very Christmassy chew rope from her Aunt Angie (DailyCharmAddict) and an adorable Mickey Waffle from Aunt Nichol (MyPandoraCharmedLife). Aunt Jessica got her a unicorn coloured squeaky toy and two cute balls and she also got an hilarious gingerbread man from Aunt Tiara (TeaforTiara).
And there you have it!!! That is what we (and Santa Paws), spoiled our little Ella Bella with for Christmas. And don’t worry! Zooey and Georgina also got spoiled lots too. hehe!!! They just gobble their presents up so fast, so I didn’t get a chance to take photos.We spent the remainder of Christmas Day relaxing, watching Christmas movies and enjoyed a delicious holiday meal together. I hope you had magical holiday with your loved ones too!

About my recent video |Autumn Style | Ohm Lucky Red Whip Bracelet
Autumn Style | Ohm Lucky Red A few days ago, I posted my Autumn Style | Ohm Lucky Red video on my youtube channel. This is probably one of my most favourite videos I have done…because it turned out better than I had imagined and planned out, in my head!
I filmed half of the footage and Snowman helped film the scenes with Ella and I outdoors. He executed my vision perfectly. When I was editing through the footage, I couldn’t be more happier or impressed!!! It was hard to narrow down the footage to be around 6 minutes long…there were so many magical, outdoor scenes! Thank you so much, Snowman.
In my happy place! I love that I get to take you all along with me, as I go on a my daily autumn walk with Ella. The majority of the outdoor shots are taken at one of my favourite parks, that goes around a gorgeous lake. When we were filming, it was right near sunset and it felt extra enchanting…a true golden hour. The setting sun flickered through the vibrant coloured leaves and the wind blew about and it couldn’t have been more perfect or autumn-like.
With DAVIDsTEA in hand, walking my little Ella through an Autumn Wonderland of Leaves! Ohm Beads was kind enough to send me the Lucky Red Whip Bracelet to review (thank you so much…I would not have these opportunities without each and every one of you!). This bracelet had been on my Ohm Beads Wishlist (you can see it on my Instagram) after I saw it on their Instagram page. When I pulled it out of the packaging, the lucky red colour was even more vibrant in-person. It instantly inspired an autumn style themed video!!! However, I had to be patient because the weather was not in agreement to film, right away. It was stormy for about a week, haha. But I waited patiently and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon!

And we cannot forget about the tea of the video!!!! In the video, I enjoyed Vanilla Cappuccino by DAVIDsTEA. This was a tea my friend, Jo had recommended. When I am not sure how many grams of tea to purchase, I love to try it, “to go”. I decided to get, Vanilla Cappuccino, as a latte with almond milk.
