And that concludes today’s preview! Stay tuned for a review video. Which beads are your favourites from this release?
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day. Stay safe and spread love.
In today’s blog post, I am sharing a preview of the OHM Beads July Release. This is a smaller launch with three beads releasing.
I will be using OHM Beads promotional photos today, as I have not received OHM Cairn or OHM Shark Bay yet to take additional photos and video. My local postal services have been quite slow, the past few months. I am so excited to see these two beads in-person to give a full review!
So, if you are ready…make sure to grab a cup of tea and let’s get started!
The first bead I have to share with you is OHM Cairn. This is an OHM Lab Project with the Laboratory Assistant being the wonderful Patricia McClure AKA @the_mcctrish. This glass bead is inspired by the stacking of stones or rocks, also known as cairns in Gaelic Scotland.
OHM Cairn will add a subtle, carefully balanced hue of color to your bracelet, reminding you of the precious impermanence of each day, the gratitude you feel for guideposts along your journey, and the friendships you share that stack blessing upon blessing. “I’ll put a stone on your stone” and a pebble of good luck too!
This is a OHM glass bead and features peaceful stones stacked together. This stone detail goes all around the bead. From the photos I have seen, this bead looks calming and so unique. I love the neutral colours of greys and whites, two staple colours in my wardrobe. I am looking forward to styling this bead!
OHM Shark Bay | Exclusive
The next bead I have to share with you is OHM Shark Bay. This is a regional exclusive glass bead to OHM in Australia.
The bead is inspired by Shark Bay, located in the western point of Australia. Shark Bay is home to hundreds of species such as birds, retiles, fish…and sharks! The Whale Shark is known as the largest shark in the world and it gathers in Shark Bay during the ,months of April and May full moons.
Deep blue sea waves swirl into white foam as they spread across the sandy shore. The vibrant salty blue is flecked with shimmers that could be darting fish, bubbles from a whale, or a nearly transparent jellyfish. Is the sandy hue the seagrass floor? Or sea turtles nesting in the shoreline dunes? Your imagination can soar with the rising flocks of birds or leap with the dolphins or even cruise with graceful menace like a shark. Surely this is an OHM bead worthy of the name SHARK BAY.

OHM Woot Bear Phinneas
Do you remember the April OHMistry Project Woot Bear? He was a limited edition bead that was extremely popular! There were only 111 made and this little bear sold out fast! Designed by Steve Ferrera with OHM Beads, the Woot Bear Phinneas will now be available for regular release on July 2nd, 2020. I am so excited for those who really wanted to add this little bear into their bead collection, but were unable to!
I first featured my Woot Bear bead in my May Preview YouTube video. You can watch it HERE or down below:
The Woot Bear design was born in Steve Ferrera’s Berkeley art studio in 2016 for an art show at Woot Bear Gallery in San Francisco. The original bear was a 5-inch tall solid cast resin figure painted with acrylic paints…
The design continues to evolve and find new iterations, this time finding a home in the jewelry and bead world with OHM Beads in Seattle, Washington.
I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe, during this outbreak. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I am a bit late in posting this blog, but this past Tuesday I published a new YouTube video about the OHM Beads June Release. In this video, I share an unboxing and my first impressions. The beads I unbox include: OHM Wagyl (Australian exclusive), OHM Walk the Walk (Thailand exclusive) and OHM Time Machine (OHM Lab Project). I also share another look (and some brief styling) of my OHMistry bead, OHM Don’t Give Up. You can watch the video HERE or down below:
SO, make sure to grab a delicious cup of tea (I am enjoying some iced Peach Matcha from DAVIDsTEA*) and let’s get started!

Official OHM Photos | June Release:
The June Release will be officially available on June 4th, 2020.
The Wagyl (AKA, Rainbow Serpent) looks like it curled around, over the wearer’s bracelet. So cool!
I love OHM Walk the Walk! So much detail from every single angle!
The OHM Time Machine is one of my favourites from June! It is amazing and one of my top choices!! If you could travel in the OHM Time Machine, where would you go and why?
Not shown in my unboxing, but there is also a OHM glass bead in the June release. It is called, OHM Lila Gold and is an exclusive to OHM in Europe:
And lastly…here is a little look at my bead, but I will be sharing a more detailed look at the official OHM stock photos, at a later date! I will also be including photos of the design process, including the wax model, etc. So excited to share these photos with you all!
My Bead Collab. with OHM:
What do you think of the June Release? What are your favourites?
As mentioned, my top pick would be OHM Time Machine. I love the all the details on it and it is such an imaginative bead! Every time you look at it, you may just go on an adventure. Also…how could my very own OHMistry bead not be in my top favourites? 😉 🙂
Have a wonderful rest of your day! Stay safe and talk to you all very soon! xo
In this video, I share the Ohm Beads January 2020 Release Collection + Styling with you! I will be reviewing Ohm Lion Dance, as well as Ohm Peace Alien. They were officially released on January 2nd. I will also be reviewing the January Ohmistry project: Marble the Pony Campus. A bead collaboration designed by Grace Owen and Ohm Beads. It releases on January 17th. I filmed an unboxing and first impressions video on IGTV, too. You can watch it here.
As an Ohmbassador, Ohm Beads was so kind and sent all three beads for me to review (thank you so much, Ohm). I had so much filming this video and designing with these beads! My sweet guineas, Zooey and Georgina also help co-host this review video with me! I love when they help me out!

On December 20th, I woke up feeling SO excited! Today was the day I would get to see my dear bead friends, Angie and Rita!!! And not only that, but also enjoy some Ohm Beads #BeadsandCoffee, or how I like to call it: Beads and TEA!!!
We all decided to meet up at my favourite hometown coffee shop, Matter of Taste. There are two locations and we decided to meet up at the Waterloo location. I have been going to Matter of Taste since I was in high school and since moving away, it has become a special place to visit, whenever I am in-town!
When Angie, Rita and I met up, we caught up with each other first, ordered our drinks (tea lattes for Angie and I and a latte for Rita) and I gave them some special Christmas surprises to open!
And then it was time to start designing over some Beads, Coffee and Tea!!!
Ohm Beads sent me a new bead concept called, “Ocean Love”. It is a new style of clip for them (more similar to a Pandora clip) and they wanted our feedback on the function, design and style! Please note, this bead has not been released. If you would like to watch our video adventures together, as well as see their designs, check out my Instagram Stories: Beads and Coffee. I unfortunately didn’t think of taking photos of their designs, just video!
